I've been trying to get in touch with the BON thru email & phone but couldn't get thru. Says that voice mailbox is full .. don't know how else to know the status of my licensure application .. do you have any suggestions?

I think you have to register with the pearson vue for the ATT(Authorization to test) Its actually the peason vue who send the request to the MDBON. ( Maryland board of nursing.) their link is http://www.vue.com then click on create a web account. You will be asked to pay 200 USD. Then it normally takes 7-14 days for your ATT to be processed and mailed to you.
Remember if you use your email address for contact, then your ATT will be emailed to you. - May 12, '07 by emdeeRNDoesn't my eligibility need to be approved first by the Maryland BON? I think you should have applied first to the MDBON before you sent your school treanscripts to the CGFNS. If you did then there is nothing else to fulfill. If the MDBON accepted your application then you should be all clear. All you need is to register for the NCLEX at http://www.vue.com
Remember MDBON will probably send you an application packet for the NCLEX but its better and faster if you do it online if you have a credit card.
Then the pearson proffesional center is the one that actually asks the MDBON for your eligibility to take the NCLEX.
The MDBON will probably ask you for your fingerprint card and a criminal report from the CJIS( criminal justice information system) if you have not already done that. - May 13, '07 by emdeeRNQuote from emanzitimothyI have already passed an application since last year. Paid the application fee. Already took the IELTS exam and IELTS has sent them the result of my exam. CGFNS has also already forward my CES report to them. I just need to know now to confirm if I am eligible to take the NCLEX. I have not passed a fingerprint card though & a criminal report since the application packet sent to me did not indicate that I should. You think I could just register at pearson? If I am not YET eligible and have already registered will not my money go to waste? Thank you very, very much for taking time out to help me with my problem. I really appreciate it..Hi Emdee.
