Has anyone heard if there is any law in Maryland that states Nurses will have to have their BSN to practice? I know they passed one in Philadelphia. Does anyone know where I can get this information from? Thanks, A future RN.
I don't know where you got your information, but there is no law in PA which requires a BSN for practice. If there were a sh*tload of hospitals and nursing homes would be out of luck, as there are still plenty of diploma and associates degree nurses still working. The "academics" have been trying to push this for years, with limited success. Dave Dunn, RN (dilpoma)
