Hi there!

I am a foreign nurse aspiring to go to America. Can anyone tell me of any information about Cambridge Healthcare? It's base is in MD. I would like to know if it's a good agency. I believe they're somewhere in Baltimore.

Thanks a lot.

i see. whatever it is i hope its not affecting people's chances to be deployed...

there is still one nurse in MD waiting to be deployed.

they dont seem to have a problem deploying PTs though.

Hi I'm new here. Anyone got approve H1b this year? I'm still waiting for my approval. hopefully you can share me your story. Thanks and Godbless!

Specializes in ICU med sure.

@JNC2010: when did CHC file your petition to USCIS?

Specializes in ICU med sure.

@Westmack,RN: how are you? u already in the US? any updates fr Focus or CHC?

@k3lbj: CHC is not my employer. I was just recommended by my cousins employer. Anyone got approved petition this year? My employer filed my petition last May 2009 and got denied January 2010 because USCIS said they did not receive any evidence. My atty. really send it. We still have the mail receipt. They also stated in their website that they receive my RFE last September. So complicated... We have decided to file MTR. Then luckily they opened our case this June and they asked for RFE again and this end of September I'm looking forward to their decision. Hopefully in God's will...

@JNC2010: hope you get positive results from USCIS.

Hey Folks, I heard there were 7 new nurses who arrived last Monday thru CHC and are being deployed here in Florida. Congratulations!

Does anyone know if CHC is working for RN's h1b application? I wrote to Patti who work there, but no reply.

I recommend finding an alternate H1B sponsor or go for a F1 and get your masters degree.

Actually an RN with a US Masters degree may qualify for an EB2 category immigration sponsorship which is current (no waiting period). While on an F1 study visa you can also work part time... which will provide you with the additional US experience on top of the experiences that you currently have. Try to call colleges and universities and see if you can be admitted... thats the first step... obviously you have to have a sponsor which will provide the funds for your matriculation. If you have a close relative willing to do this then this should be fairly easy. This would get you one foot in the door, the rest is up to you.
