So I received a nice email awhile back from UMD saying:

Dear BSN Applicant:
Thank you for your application to the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Your application file is complete. At this time there are no further documents required. A thorough review of your application will be completed by a faculty committee.
A decision on your application will be rendered by the first week in November. Decisions will be posted online and letters will be mailed at that time.

Uggghhh November!!! Oh the pain in waiting so long! But it should come soon enough….I hope. My online status says ‘application complete ready for review’ not what lasts year’s were reading…. which I think was ‘committee ready’ or is that the next step in what my online should read… hmmm I dunno….

Does anyone know if it should say ‘committee ready’ my stuff has all been in before the deadline so I wonder if they haven’t reviewed my files yet since
it says ‘application complete ready for review’ and not ‘committee ready’…..

RosesArePink- it will say "Committee Ready" in the decision column eventually. Mine says that now, but for a while it only said "Complete and Ready for Review." Don't worry, you are fine! Good luck!!!

I mailed mine in some time in June, but my transcript from my summer courses wasn't received until late July. I think my application was considered complete as of then.

I guess what they're asking is does your's say either:

Application Complete Ready for Review

OR

Committee Ready

on your webpage for your application status.....
Their's seems to be reading the 1st one and they want to know if it 'changes' into Committee Ready eventually

You can be assured that the BSN program is exactly the same at both campuses. How could the AANC permit any differences? Your diploma is the same and does not indicate campus. The requirements, the books, the syllabii are the same - just in two different places and that includes clinicals. I am an administrator for the Shady Grove campus and am unabashedly a fan of that campus. Feel free to ask questions. Oh, and if you would like to tour the campus, we have an Open House coming up Sat., Oct. 24 9 to noon where you can drop by, walk around and talk to staff and students of the UMB School of Nursing. Bring family and there is food.
