Know of any places to Volunteer??

Hi. Does anyone know of any LTC's or Nursing Homes, etc that I can volunteer at? I'm going to school at night so I wanted to see if I could volunteer somewhere a couple of hours a week so I can get my foot in the door when I graduate. Thanks!

Best thing you can do is to just contact your local nursing homes and hospitals. Most if not all accept volunteers.

I agree. I'm planning on volunteering at University so I can volunteer in the ER or Shock Trauma. If you can't find the information online, then definitely stop by and ask in person (they'll remember you much better that way anyway).

do not volunteer at shady grove, i have weird schedule at work which varies from day to day which i told them in advance and said ok. the only day i had available was on sun. i gave them my schedule 3 weeks in advance. they continually wanted me to come in when they damn well knew i would be working. here is the good part when i called to follow up the receptionist said smart ass **** like your the one with the difficult schedule, the hard one after awhile i was like **** it.
