Nothing change as well although mine has been"committee Ready" almost a week now.
Mother_matters: congrats for getting accepted into another program. At lease you have something in your hand.

Mother_matters: may I ask what other program you were accepted into? Is it in the area? I dont know of too many schools that have an Accel. BSN that starts in January so I am just curious. I applied to Georgetown and just got accepted but if I am unable to get their scholarship, I probably cant afford it so I'd like to have options.

Hi JLSELD---the Accelerated BSN program that I was accepted into was Marymount University in Arlington. I had looked at Georgetown and Marymount very closely and ultimately decided that Marymount would be the next best fit for me if I didn't get in to UMB. Actually, the BSN at UMB would have been my second choice but UMB doesn't allow you to apply to the CNL and the BSN at the same time (and their BSN isn't accelerated). I believe that Catholic Univ might also have an accelerated BSN but I don't know if it has spring admissions. I believe that the Hopkins accelerated BSN only has June admission. Congrats on your acceptance to Georgetown---hope you get good news about the WHC scholarship as well!

It seems like a lot of people applied to Marymount. I didn;t even know about their program until recently. Maybe because I am from Baltimore so I wasn't really looking at VA schools. I dont know! Anyway, I'm not sure about Catholic either. I think that is only fall. GWU has a very new program in the fall as well. Crossing my fingers on WHC. Congrats for your acceptance to Marymount and hopefully we'll hear soon. It could certainly change a few things!

Hi Fellow Applicants. Thought you might be interested in seeing the following link about $10K scholarships for CNL students through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. I wonder if all of these have already been awarded for the year or if some were reserved for the spring applicants? Anybody know anything more about these? The new SON website looks great!

Thanks for that link. I agree, the new SON website does look really good! Much better. My status is still the same "Committee Ready" and has been that way for a long time now. The waiting is killing me! I received my acceptance letter for HCC's accelerated ADN program and the deposit is due by 10/30, so I hope we hear soon too! UM is my first choice.

If it's any consolation, terps97, my application status is still at "Complete Ready for Review". I'm trying not to get concerned when I hear that everyone else is at "Committee Ready". Acck!!

Hello fellow CNL people. I am too waiting, very impatiently, to hear from MD. I got rejected from Georgetown's program, but was accepted to Marymount.

Maryland is now my #1 since I didn't get into Georgetown

Do you think we will hear before November 1-- like that email said? If so, I am going to just stop checking, it's driving me crazy!

Hi Beach It---I'm so sorry to hear about your disappointing news from Georgetown. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason (though that's probably small comfort right now!). We're happy to have you join us over here on the CNL applicant board as we all nervously await admissions decisions! Down the road, when we've passed the NCLEX and are working as RNs, all of this anxiety and torment will be a distant memory!
