Anyone Else Applying For University of Maryland's NP Program 2010?

Hi, I'm in the proces of completing my application for the University of Maryland's fall 2010 MSN Nurse Practitioner program, with a concentration in Acute Care pediatrics. Anyone else University of Maryland hopeful?

I am I am!! Primary care vs. Acute but there are some classes that are the same!! I cannot wait to the first week in Nov (thats when they told me we would be hearing!!)

Pediatrics!! No grown-ups for this girl! I'm going a little nuts waiting to hear from them... and we moved so our mail is being forwarded.. not helping my type A personality wait for a letter in the mail!

I know that some of the core MSN classes (ie the ones all MSN students need) are available on-line but the key ones for each major are done on campus.

I'm applying for peds too, but hoping not to start until Fall 2010. Do you know if it's possible to do both primary and acute care? While I want to do acute, my fear is what if I end up moving later on in life and can't find an acute care job (the area I live in now hardly uses them, unlike MD and the coast). I realize I could teach, but I might prefer to have some NP options.
