You could always try buying white twill pants; then it won't matter which color undies you wear. I bought my white twill pants from Sassy Scrubs and I like not having to worry about patients seeing through my pants.

Boys can wear white drawers under whites. They're allowed to show. Girls - nuh-uh.

Absolutely!

VPL is a cardinal sin for women but a venial sin for men. Indeed, white skivvies are generally thought of as being rather sexy in a "good boy" kind of way. Wear 'em and if anybody notices them it ain't no big deal. You are a dude for goodness sake.

Boxers are always a good choice unless one is prone to untimely err umm...you know whats - then briefs are a good choice. Fortunately this problem abates with age and the opposite problem makes itself manifest. But I digress.

Just make sure whatever you wear is new, clean, and white. Throw out the gray ragged old one. You never know when you might have an accident and have to go to the ED....

As an earlier poster noted, for dark skinned people the reverse is true. Wear black foundation garments when wearing white clothing.

Frankly, I have more important things to do than tea dye my underwear to match my skin...

I would remind the Director of your program that it is not 1950 and wearing white just propagates the image that nurses are in a submissive role. I would be willing to bet your administration consists of older women who are stuck in the 60's. A white scrub set will pick up so much dirt and stain it will be unbelievable, plus they will look REDICULOUS. Are they trying to humiliate all of you?

I feel you brother!

As a woman I would wear nude colored but that's not readily available for men so just wear white ones instead. I have seen female nurses who wear white on here state they have to wear white panties under them as part of their dress code. That's absurd. I would wear nude colored anyway as no one needs to see the outline of my ass. lol

We have all white scrubs at my school. The scrubs can only be bought from one store in town, so there isn't a choice of finding a thicker white scrub pant. I wear white boxers, and I think it is the best choice. In some lighting you can see the underwear outline, but that is going to be true no matter what color you wear.
