Also, white may show an "outline", but it will cover much better than any color under white pants.

To the OP, If you get "medic" pants, they are of a thicker material, and are not as see thru.
I'm not a guy but a wife.

I think these would probably do the job better than boxers. I just suggested boxers b/c of the shape.

Interesting. i seriously have never seen that color used before. Sorry for calling you out. I still think the white boxers do coverage the best, since they're less clingy than your link.

I'd like to weigh in on this discussion as I am male and wear white scrubs. The assumption, I feel, is that the OP was either of european descent or a fairer of fairer skinned ethnicty. Being african american, i wear black or very dark colored under wear as for my skin color it is less visible. I've never worn "nude" or "brown" or "flesh" colored and haven't had any issues. Just waned to add a differing viewpoint as the OP didn't state what his actually skin tone was.

Our uniforms are all white too (and the pants are easy to see through when you bend over!).. when i first started school, the professors made a big point of telling us NO colored undies or thongs and that if we wore them we would be sent home! haha
Did they line you up for inspection every morning???

Pardon the barge guys but Rit makes a dye that is brown so you can make your own dye at home adjusting for skin color to turn white to a more fleshy color.

In response to this thread, I would say that if you can find boxers or briefs that is somewhat similar to your skin color then that would work but otherwise I would go with white. I've worn white scrub tops and bottoms and as long as what is underneath them isn't too dark then your not too bad. Personally I go with white boxers but thats just me...

Oh and to whomever said "Go commando" I would say that's probably not a smart idea otherwise all of the other students (and some of your patients) will be seeing a whole new side of you. Which isn't good... unless you are looking for that kind of attention.

Maybe you should wait to put on your scrub pants until you walk out the door of your house if your that messy lol

Good luck to the guy who has to wear the white scrubs!

In my program, we are required to wear white scrubs, and for underwear it's "Tidy-Whities" or go home. I've seen people sent home from clinical for being "out-of-uniform," when they've worn non-white undies. It's just part of the "hazing" which goes along with entering any new profession.

I have, of course it's been a while. Fruit-of-the-Loom made them at one point and would occasionally include a pair in one of their 3- or 4-pair multi-packs, in the middle, underneath the standard gray ones. But they must have stopped, because I don't find them anymore.

You might also want to check out International Male (WWW dot Undergear dot com)...they do offer some "neutral" briefs, but the cut might be a little short, and they're not cheap).
