The scrubs were purchased by me, and they are not designated for work use. If someone approached me while I was working out to determine if they were clean, I would laugh too.

- Feb 8 by rubatoGive me a break. Who walks up to someone working out and questions their attire? DO NOT go to the gym if you are worried at all about germs.

- Feb 14 by phieudQuote from Bringonthenightyou're SUPPOSED to worry about germs in a hospital. do you not wear gloves, masks, etc for protection against germs? I realize exposure to germs is inevitable in the setting, but being cautious to minimize it is important.OP don't work at a hospital if your worried about germs.Last edit by phieud on Feb 14

- Feb 14 by phieudQuote from Rachelj1222so if someone came to work out in their undies that wouldn't be my business? it is my business if I'm using the same machines with him. he's in a public place and he has the right to wear what he wants, but why is it wrong for me to ask him if it's clean if it concerns my own safety??Your lucky that person didn't punch you in the face. - Feb 15 by mariebaileyI wonder if butchers or sanitation workers have these conversations. On discussion boards.
- Feb 15 by veggie530Quote from phieudIf you want to argue about whether or not it was your business, whatever, not going to change the mind of someone like you. But it isn't your prerogative to approach someone about it -- that falls on the owners of the business or, in your underwear example, the police.so if someone came to work out in their undies that wouldn't be my business? it is my business if I'm using the same machines with him. he's in a public place and he has the right to wear what he wants, but why is it wrong for me to ask him if it's clean if it concerns my own safety??
Not gonna lie, if I didn't value my lack of a criminal record, I would just deck you.Fiona59 and Rachelj1222 like this. - Feb 15 by brithooverQuote from veggie530Haha I love this. I think you are a nut to be approaching strangers about something as trivial as this. I'd hate to see your reaction about something actually serious
