3.96. Got a 93.4 on my gerontology final and that was considered a B. 94 was an A. I really beat myself up over that one B and was very upset with myself, but guess what, the girl I went to school with that had a 2.5 GPA works at the same place that I do, makes just as much money as I do, and is just as good at her job as I am. Grades don't make the nurse. Some people aren't as good at taking tests, but that doesn't mean that they aren't just as smart.

3.8 science when applying to nursing school, and currently (in nursing school) I have a 3.49. My other final grade has not been posted yet so that could change it.

I have one more semester of pre-requisites before entering an accelerated program. All my application have been sent, and just waiting to get accepted. To date my pre-requsite GPA is a 4.0, my undergraduate GPA was a 3.1. I never realized it before, but I am glad I did not fool around in undergrad too much because most of the programs I have applied to require a minimum undergrad GPA of a 3.0 or they won't even consider you.

Best of luck and do well on those pre-reqs. If your grades aren't where you want them make sure you take step to bolster your resume like shadow, become a CNA, or gain your BLS certification.

4.0 here.

The first time I went to college, I was a horrible student; I had no idea what I was getting into, and I was right on the edge the whole time.

Went to grad school quite a few years later, and found my confidence made all the difference. Scored ~3.8 GPA.

Now that I'm preparing for a second career, my new, matching attitude has me steady at 4.0.

Another quarter into the books pulled me up to a 3.9. 3.77 for just nursing related classes for the application. 213 points towards my application. First alternate last year had 201.

Things are looking pretty good. C'mon JANUARY! Then I can get that application turned in and should know by May!
