At the punishment/chance of getting caught. I personally like to cross walk between two red lights vs stopping twice on my way from school for example.

Desire/risk=choice.

Ok, just my personal opinion and i may get flamed for this...but i'll dare say that when the two of you students actually do graduate, I'd much rather the nurse that goes above and beyond be the one taking care of me than the one who's gonna make a face if i so much as ask for a soda. Seriously, dude...get a life.

Hopefully he also checked patient diet to make sure pt. wasn't NPO or on restriction...some cardiac and/or psych pts. can't have caffeine. Or DM.

It doesn't matter if he was or not. We weren't allowed to leave the campus ever due to insurance reasons. If one of us had left we would have been kicked out of the program. period.

One of my clients in my first semester did not have any starbuck milkshakes left, so I got him a few after my shift, since it was my last day at the LTC facility. My instructor was ok about it, and it made my day when my client told me I will make a great nurse.

I guess there were no vending machines at the hospital if he had to go to the gas station to get a Pepsi.
