Hmm, here we go (from most difficult to least):

1. Pharmacology
2. Physiology Lecture
3. Physiology Lab
4. Microbiology
5. Anatomy Lecture
6. Anatomy Lab

I've always considered anatomy to be fairly easy to learn, at least compared to the physiology counterparts which I consider to be of moderate difficulty. Microbiology is sort of challenging, but not terrible or anything. Pharmacology is a fairly demanding class- there's just a very large amount of information to take in.

Hope that helps!

Had no trouble with A/P or Micro. They weren't 'easy' per se but no problems.

Pharmacology is just massive amounts of memorization. It was ridiculous...

So Pharm got #1, Micro #4 and Anatomy and Physiology (Lecture/Lab) tie for #5.

Pharm got #1 because not only was it a lot of info but I absolutely hate learning by rote.

Thanks for the ranking. I definitely will take it to heart. I sorta though A&P were the hardest and had been considering taking pharmacology and physiology the same semester. Looks like its time to change plans.

1-PHARMACOLOGY FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
2-HUMAN ANATOMY LECTURE
3-INTRO TO MICROBIOLOGY
4-HUMAN ANATOMY LAB
5-HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY LECTURE
6-HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY LAB

If you read your material in advance, and study instead of craming it all up, you will find them way less chalenging!

tip for a&p and micro
understand how stuff works as much as you can, because plenty of the chapter subjects will come up in further chapters!

the more you understand the more you breeze with better grades!

Bo, I too will be starting both Micro and Physiology in three weeks. The instructors have advised me that they are easily one and a half times harder than Anatomy, and to take them in separate semesters if at all possible. (I'm not looking forward to it, although I 'aced' Anatomy while the average score in my class of 125 was a "D"). I need to have them both completed by August though, to begin my program, so I'm having to put the 4.0 GPA at risk to complete them.

Hope you don't mind a female's response in a male student forum.

The school I was admitted to never required PHARMACOLOGY FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, so I can't say much about that. I was most challenged with INTRO TO MICROBIOLOGY and I had to retake it twice for a better passing grade. Hope this helps!

Honestly it depends on you, and I really believe a lot of it depends on your teachers. You should ask around from people who have taken these classes at your school, and from the teachers you may be taking them with.
