New Nursing Student - Clinicals Coming Up

Hi All,

I'm a first semester ADN student. I've been doing well in my classes, but clinicals are around the corner and, well... I'm just a wee bit nervous. Any advice? What were your first days in clinicals like, especially as a guy? Were you able to do procedures and stuff (caths, etc.) just like the girls did, or did you run into any gender-related issues?

Any stories, advice, etc. would help ease my mind considerably.
