Ages of male nursing students?

I completely agree. I already have a B.A. that I got a year ago when I was 22, but I didn't have many of the prereqs necessary for nursing school because my degree was more on the liberal arts side. I'll probably be 24 when I matriculate and will most likely do a 2 year route, as opposed to an accelerated program, so I will be 26 when I graduate.

From 22 to 26...I really do think it's a 4 year process for most people nowadays. The thing that makes it the hardest is that most don't want to "put all their eggs in one basket" and apply to one school, so applying to more than one school makes it even longer because each school seems to always have that one class that you have not taken. I wish there was a way to standardize prerequisites.

I started toward my bsn when I was 24. Had to take credits a little slower cause of the fam. Just got my a 2 year degree and am going for my BSN now. I will be almost 29 when I finish up. Should have went right to college outta high school, but I guess being a first gen college student didn't have it all figured out.

For me this is a second career, I was a manufacturing engineer but you see how plentiful those jobs are.

I'm 28. Just passed the boards yesterday.

I took RN license here in the Philippines and completed my BSN degree at the age of 19 and took the NCLEX at the age of 20 and i am still waiting for NCLEX RN results

I'm starting the BSN program this fall and i'm 23 yrs old.

Starting the Paramedic to RN program this fall and im 25.

30 years old and just passed boards on Monday... start work this Monday
