$1000 lesson to read more carefully


Sigh...

I just found out I could have applied for financial aid last summer cause I took 8.5 units at a community college. I visit their FA page today and saw this sentence:

"You can receive financial aid in the summer even if you were a full time student in the Fall & Spring. You would need to complete a 2009-10 FAFSA however."

Sort of...

One year ago I read it as: "You can receive financial aid in the summer if you were a full time student in the Fall & Spring. You would need to complete a 2009-10 FAFSA however." (w/o even)

FML.
