Warren, Maine & surrounding area

Warren is a pretty little town, pleasant if you like rural living. If you're into the outdoors, there are plenty of things to do. The coast is about half an hour's drive away. I think the nearest movie theater is about 30 minutes out, and there are some nice cafes in Waldoboro, another small town about 15 minutes away. The cost of living in Maine is comparable to that in the rest of the Northeast, which is to say that it's relatively high. I'm not aware of any places nearby where RNs can earn bachelor's degrees. I think the closest places would be the University of Southern Maine campuses in Lewiston and Portland; they are both about 90 minutes away from Warren.
