Maybe moving to Maine, LPN question.

Hi. I am currently in Florida and my husband and I both hate it here as we are both from the mountains (I'm from WV he is from Scotland). We are wanting to relocate somewhere up north that actually has four seasons, Autumn being both of our favorite. We have heard that although Maine is beautiful it is really expensive to live there. My question is what does a recent LPN grad make, looking especially at LTC. Also, approx. cost of renting? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not sure how much and LPN makes, but I lived in Maine for over 3 years during my undergrad. I'm originally from the Boston area, so to me, renting in Maine is much cheaper. I think it really depends on where you want to be. I lived in the greater Portland area and had a 3 bedroom 2 bath house on Lake Sebago for $1000/month. If you do some research I'm sure you could find a good deal where ever you are looking!!
