Shadowing DON and objectives

I have to shadow my DON for my leadership class and need some ideas on what would be the most beneficial activities to observe. THere is no specific time period to be assigned as in hours to follow. I just need an objective and three things to specifically observe. THere is so many things I know she is responsible for I just need to narrow it to something she is highly involved in. I am going to discuss it with her but today they are in orientation. Time is also limited because I am only off one specific day of the week that i would be able to do this on so it may be difficult to observe some things due to when they are scheduled.
