Mobility program application process

  1. 0 Has anyone ever been accepted into a mobility, lpn to rn, program prior to working 500 hours as an lpn? I graduated in December and was called to active military duty in may. I didn't have time to work 500 hours and the application is due too soon to complete 500 hours.

I graduated Dec 12, got my license on Feb 14, had to have 500 hours by the beginning of May. Needless to say, I didn't have enough hours and was not able to get in. She did lead me to believe that if there were enough spots left, I could get chosen from the waiting list. I said all that to say, make some phone calls. Go higher up if you have to. Sometimes they do make exceptions.
