Congrats on your acceptance I am actually looking in to applying to the LPN to rn program at spc. But concerned with my grades and wondering if I have a chance. May I ask what ur gap was? Thanks And congrats again!

I did the LPN-Rn and my gpa was 3.4. I think that average for our group was 3.2. Make sure you have all the classes aside from nursing complete before you apply. It betters your chance.

Thanks for replying! I've been trying to get in touch with you since I've read some of your post and noticed that you went that route that I most likley am going to go on. I'm almost finshed with my A.A and my nursing req's, but the think is that I will most likley end with a GPA of 3.2. I doubt I will get accepted into the nursing program...I've done research and somewhere along I read that its much easier to get my LPN at PTEC and then try to get in the transtional program. Do you know if its more competitive, or is it true that its first come first serve ? If you can provide any info or some of your experiancce that would be awesome! And congrats on how far you have made it on your career
