  1. Hi i am cc and would really like to know where any of these 3 course programs are located,or the names of the schools i'm just ready to be finished.
  2. Does anyone know if there are any other schools in NC that offer this bridge program with just three classes?
  3. Hi,

How many clinical days/hours did you have in addition to these three classes? Thanks.

I go to Guilford Technical community College in Jamestown, NC. I am in the ADN program. I did the lpn-rn transition course in the summer, Nursing V in the Fall and will do Nursing VI (last semester) starting January 12th.
  4. Hi Sandiesown,
How is the program at GTCC?
  5. Thought I would post an update.. I am now deep into Nursing 3 and am proud to say I passed the first exam with a 90%!! I went to the same school for my LVN and they prepared us well. We just have 3 classes but Spring and Fall are 9 units each, we also have a class over Summer... I will be done at the end of Fall (right before Xmas!!). It is a fabulous program, tough but do-able.
So there ARE accredited, GOOD schools with only 3 classes for LVN to RN... just make sure you pick one that has a good pass rate and is accredited!!!
    Good luck to all!

I am currently in a bridge program and I definitely have to take more than 3 courses. Just be very careful because the last thing you want to do is pay for these classes and not be able to pass your boards.e
what bridge program are you in? is there one on the east coast?

  8. THANKS FANTASTIC!! where is your program and what college?
  9. To answer your question, no; less time spent in school is not always better (for some). If you generally adapt well, maybe it will work for you.
My question for you is, what is the name of the school only requiring 3 courses for transition?
