LPN or RN? help please!

Hello everyone,

I am having a really tough time deciding between the two. I just enrolled in school for a two year RN degree, but i also just found out about the LPN degree. i would really like to start my life but don't want to make the wrong decsion and i am not sure who to ask for help. i would like to know the difference between the two and what would be the better option to go with. i hope some of you nurses and students out there can help me!

Stay in the RN program. A majority of LPNs do LPN to RN programs a couple of years later. You'll get more job opportunities as an RN, and a higher salary at that, and it'll put you that much further if you wish to obtain a BSN or MSN in the future.

If you are already in the ADN program, stay there!

^^^ What they said! I am finishing my LPN-RN bridge program right now.. If you have that opportunity to get an ADN go for it!

You would need to apply as a foreign student. Your ethnicity doesn't matter, you can go wherever you want to go.
