- Aug 10, '12 by stephadler82I am with TCN and not too happy with their modules. I am an "A" "B" student and have been struggling with their A&P module for almost a year now. There isn't much guidance with their modules, it's not like a typical online class where you have assignments and discussions. I am thinking about doing it at the community college. I am unhappy with their approach and have called and complained. Had I known it would be like this, I would have just done the classes at the community college. Besides, if things don't work out for ISU then all the classes I would have done with TCN wouldn't transfer anywhere.

If you don't like the way the moules are, you probably woul dno tlike the distant learning program. They are very similar to TCN modules. In the distant learning program, no one is there to hold your hand or if you need extra explainations. In most distant learning programs, students are provided information and expected to study on your own and pass tests.I am with TCN and not too happy with their modules. - Aug 13, '12 by stephadler82Quote from LadyinScrubsHas it been difficult to do the classes online with ISU? Do you find the teachers or instructional material useful or helpful? With TCN, there are no instructors and all the online discussions and forums are written by students. It's basically set up so that you read the module, do their tests, and take their exams. If you have questions you are on your own. In addition, the anatomy and physiology exam by TCN is nothing like their chapter tests and many students have complained about failing the first time. There is just not much support for the students. You have made valid points and others on AN have said the same. - Aug 22, '12 by fxibrwnI had to drop TCN. I started off with chemistry, but I couldn't get any help. I tried to contact them repeatedly, and sent numerous messages to numerous people, and to this day I have not spoken to anyone. I am now in a LPN to RN bridge program, and I love it! I wouldn't waste my time with TCN. My program is just fifteen months, so you could have been graduating in three months.
