I know I have practically memorized Helene Fuld's website since I've heard about their articulation with Veeb two months ago. I was looking into Molloy since I have a BA already, but I'm not sure if VEEB has an articulation with a BSN program. Do you know?

That I don't know. Do let us know if you find out, though.

Actually, I'm at helene fuld, my advice to you guys is have your pre-reqs finished before you apply into the program such as intro to psych, sociology, A&P, etc, so when you enter the program all u will have to do is RN classes. It will be a lot cheaper. Here is something to think about, if you get into 1199 union after one year of working for them, the union will pay up to 6 credits for non nursing courses(A&P etc.) per semester, and 9 credits per term for nursing courses. If you decide to work for the city HHC, they will pay your entire tution and full time salary, while you are in school, but you have to give them 2 years after you finish nursing school. I'm just letting you guys know the financial options after you graduate LPN school. One more thing, you may get exempt form the entrance exam @ HF, but to get into nursing program you have to pass Selected Topics in MATH&Chem course.

Does not having your pre-reqs completed prior to entering Helen Fuld extend the program past a year or does the year include the time it would take to complete the pre-regs???
Did you transfer directly from an LPN program or did you have a years worth of LPN work experience????

Thanks for the info!

The year program @ HF does include the combination of preqs and nursing courses, you can extend it to 18 mon or 2 year program. It would be v. hard to work, if you were taking 21 credits per term with the year program. You are not matricalated into the program until you have pass the math&chem course which is a ten week course. Alot of students take preq @ community colleges, then when they come into the program, all they have to take is the nursing courses. I did work for a year before I applied into the program, and have opted for the 18 mon program.

Hi everyone....

Can you please let me know what month you took the entrance exam for Veeb. I took my exam in March and currently there is a hold on the registration process for them to fill the seats in an orderly manner.

I received a letter on Friday with this wonderful news, I took my exam March 19th, I had my interview April 10th and I was told to have my down payment ready and be in there like yesterday when I receive my letter. This is not the letter I was anxiously awaiting.

I currently work at a medical facility and I meet quite a few nurses that attended this school... they all mention how intense the program is but in the end it is rewarding.
