Unsure what to do

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hello all!

So here is my situation. I have been in clinical and this next week is our last week. I am sitting here freaking out thinking that I am going to fail! This course we take is a pass fail course meaning its graded with an S or a U on the transcript. So that said, we can technically pass our care plan portion but if our performance is not so great we could still fail.

The issue that I am really struggling with is how the instructor presents herself. In the syllabus it states that the instructor has 24 hours on weekdays and 48 on weekends to respond to an email. This instructor has not fallowed this mutipul times. Either she never responded or she finally responded when I resent the email. Two other students I understand have been to the dean about this. Should I go as well?

Also this is the second time I have been through a nursing program. I have been very very anxious towards the second half of the semester and it has been screwing with my performance in clinical and on the assignments to the point I make stupid mistakes that if not under stress I know i wouldn't make! This instructor I think knows this because I have told her many times I will do what it takes to pass. I have talked to my adviser about this because I am so stressed as well. We get a weekly review that shows what we did well or need to improve on. Hweover if there was a true problem that she "felt" was addressed but you didn't quite grasp it, Would an instructor let you go through the rest of the semester and fail you even though she never pulled you aside, sent an email, or met with you about her concerns. That is my true fear.
