Program Admission

  1. i just finished my last pre-req monday so now all i have to do is wait to hear something.

i know each lpn/lvn program admissions process is different, but i'm trying to get a general consensus. is there anything you had to do after taking your pre-requisites to get into the program? apply, take a test, etc.? i am going to call monday morning to speak with someone, but it is my understanding that i just wait. i just want to double check.

    thank you!

    Hi,
We had to put together our admissions application and then wait for them to have the entrance exam test which was used with our grades to determine who would be accepted. Definitely check in with them because every program is different and at least here, since its a once a year shot you don't want to be left behind by a simple snafu. Good luck, Jules

I attended a private, very expensive LPN program that had no prerequisites and was 1 year long. The only requirement for admission was that you pass a test that measures your basic skills in reading and math.

I had to submit two letter's, of recommendations,an autobiography,an entrance test(NET),have a decent G.P.A., with an emphasis on health prereq's,and they looked at scores on an entry test into the college. It was competitive at the college I attend and you pray that you are one of the ones chosen.
