i start NEXT MONDAY!!! i'm freaking out, i have so much to do this week.
i'm even supposed to be in two places at once--i have my CNA state exam tomorrow AND my shot clinic for school on the same morning. couldn't reschedule either; i am just hoping i get both done on time! i'm planning on trying to get my exam done as soon as i can and then rushing to the shot clinic, which is like 30 minutes away. i'm hoping it won't matter if i'm late....
i have orientation on friday, whoo!!

first of all .... congrats! as far as the exam goes ..... i was last to be tested on my skills when i took mine .... i was there from 830-4pm. you may want to call the shot clinic and let them know what you are doing. not sure where you are located, but for mine, when they took 2 back to test for skills, we were allowed to leave the test site, but just remember you only have an hour before they call the next group. maybe you could fit it in between if it is close by ..... good luck to you on the exam.

we were doing clinicals while the last group from our school was testing, and they were there from 6:30 am til around 12 at the latest, i think? i'm going to let the tester know i'm leaving early and call the shot clinic to tell them i'm coming late (people on this website who had shot clinics at my school said it took like 3 hours, and it starts at 11, so hopefully i can catch a break on the overlap and get both done.)

Well... I start Monday Sept. 21, I am really excited about starting and can't wait to get started because I have been in school already for a general degree and took med. term. courses and A&P and a few other medical courses just to get myself prepared for nursing school. I am a little nervous about starting clinicals in Jan. because that is when my husband deploys to Balad and I have 4 children at home, I am not saying I can't do it because we can do all things we put our minds to, I am just a little nervous about the work load for me and doing it alone. But I guess I will cross that hurdle when it comes up.
Thanks for listening and good luck to all

I just started on the 31st of August and I absolutely LOVE it! I am still pretty nervous because I know that I haven't even BEGUN to get ot the hard stuff! I start clinical on 10/1. I'm pretty nervous, but really excited to get out there and nurse!
Good luck to all of my fellow student nurses who are on this journey.. we are on our way to making a difference! Love to ALL!

I start October 12th....Last month I was excited, now I'm so nervous I can barely sleep. I've been brushing up on my med-term (I took the class and passed with an A 2 yrs ago). My fiance bought me a digital recorder and a backpack on wheel I even took out a couple A&P books from the library. If Im this nervous now, what am I going to do the first day of school .

I start november. but im still skeptical about my student loan. By the time I finish my LVN i will owe $27,000. is it really that high?????? im not sure if im ready to commit myself to that kind of payment plan. Or working as an LVN will be all worth it? how much are your student loans?

the technical schools cost under 5K - including uniforms! i was going to go that route too, but the thought of owing that much money to anyone, scares me!
