    Probably the best thing to do is look on the web site for your state board of nursing and read the scope of practice for each. In my state LVN's can not do IV push medication, start IV's (unless certified) hang blood, or do inital post op or admission assessments. There are a few more things, but I don't know what else. the web site will spell it out in detail.

  4. Hi! I'm not familiar with the hospital setting here in the U.S. since i'm a foreign grad of BSN. I just want to know what are the duties of an LVN in the hospital so I wont have a hard time dealing with delegation issues in the NCLEX. hope to hear some responses from the LVN's or RN's who have delegated already.
