Sooo i'm starting the program soon (june 30th) and I was hoping some people wouldn't mind helping me out? The pass rate is for NCLEX is 81% .. I consider this to be pretty good, what do you think? I am terrified of failing. I currently live at home with parents, with no financial obligations. I plan on devoting myself to this program. I already have literally NO social life just because i've been distancing myself from friends and getting myself on a strict sleeping schedule. I got an 81% on the HESI, and also passed the entrance exam first try. I am so nervous that once the program starts I will fail.

Can anyone please comment on the difficulty of the courses?

81% pass rate is not bad although you want to look at schools that have pass rates in the high 90's or 100%.

As far as the program goes, it is very intense and requires a lot of time and dedication. I have a whole new appreciation for nurses!

First and foremost, do not start thinking you are going to fail before you have started the program. The people who fail, do not study or just unable to grasp concepts being taught. Seek out tutoring when you are having a hard time on a specific subject matter and just keep focused on your goal.

I have no doubt that you will do fine in the program and graduate!

Best of luck to you...

I am a graduate from ACC but the LA campus...i wish u the best of luck...its not as bad as people make it out to be if you study..and seeing that u already sort of have a schedule together you will be fine...i jus took my NCLEX on june 2nd and i passed although i only know because of the pvt...but good luck to u..n study!!!

Almost finishing my first term at ACC OC. I'm in the full-time program and can be really stressfull. A lot of people drop the class already, but is because they had no dedication and no willingness to study. I've been doing good so far, but almost 50% of my class is failing.

This is a totally differrent school than you may have experienced so far in life. They have high expectations, a lot of study load , care plans(2/week) and med cards.

Our teacher is really experienced and she can be really demanding, but she wants the students to succeed. My clinical instructor is just wonderful and she is trying to get us to do more a lot of LVN work not just CNA work. I've done G-tube dressings and soon I'll do a Foley catheter.

Good luck to you!!!
