lpn schools broward county?

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Published

Anyone know of any reputable LPN schools in Broward? The wait for the ADN programs is so long and I thought maybe I[d try the LPN route first and then get into a transition program. I'd love to hear any advice/thoughts you may have for me!

check your local vocational schools to see if they offer the program. That is where they are the cheapest. Also check with the community colleges.

Hi,

In Broward there is Sheridan (Hollywood), Atlantic (Coconut Creek) and Mcfatter (Davie). I think the only one without a waiting list is Atlantic, which starts a new program every 9-12 weeks. BCC seems to have made their admission into the nursing program tougher & new rules about if a student fails any 2 classes while in the nsg program, you get kicked out. BCC adv them to get their LPN & come back. That has created the waiting list at the LPN schools. I know Atlantic & Mcfatter are very reputable, I don't know much about Sheridan. The cost is the same since they all fall under the Broward School Board umbrella.

Good luck
