Really feeling blessed and I'm grateful that this is it. Im glad that I was also financially able to pay for this semester. It was a sad moment when several of my fellow classmates had to withdraw because of lack of financial aide!

I just took and passed my Pre-Clinical Dosage Calculations exam Thursday. And on Monday I have clinical orientation and Tuesday Pre-Clinical Check Off and Wednesday the first day of class.

My countdown has began 10 weeks till Graduation!!!!! Blessings to everyone who is on this journey!

congratulations and keep going.

Thank you!

It's a great feeling when you can see the finish line! All the best for your future in nursing!

I got 22 more days of class left!

Good luck

Congrats!

But for the other students, were they not aware of their financial aid status? Why would they start a program they couldn't afford. They should have been applying for scholarships up the wazoo. That saddens me.

They were awarded a needs based scholarship and some pell but bc of the new regulations regarding the summer and since its a technical school they base the reward off of contact hours and not credit hours. They were told at the last minute that their award and scholarship were either taken away or reduced. They due offer a deferment where you pay a $40 fee upfront and they give you till midterm to pay the rest. But for some madeup reason the school decided to force those students who owed more than $500 to pay over half there balance by next week which for most is $600 atleast and the remaining at midterm July 1st.

I know it sounds crazy and like its more to it but really its the school. The nursing program is great but the business office and administration needs alot of work. I can write a book about it but This is my last semester and Im thankful that I don't have to deal with that office again!
