hi and welcome !! i think that would be a good program to start with if you are interested in nursing.

and 10 months isn't that long at all, it will give you an idea if nursing is really what you want do to. :)

hello and welcome! w y, what was the reason/s that led you to inquire and accept a seat in your up-coming program?

Welcome! You can learn a lot about the profession by visiting this board frequently. I have the same question though: What made you decide to apply to LPN School?

Thank you to all . when I was younger i wanted to be a nurse i always enjoyed helping and working with people it made me feel good to have made a difference. A year ago i opened up my in house family day care because i wanted to be home to be with my family. I have two kids 11 year old boy and 3 year old girl, but to work at home with 6 kids at times was very overwhelming there was no space I could call my own, no get away home was work. I decided to close my child care home after i found out i have a medical issue and my husband had left to kosovo for 6 months. My need to make a difference is very important to me so thats why i chose to go into the nursing field. again thank you

i say go for it! i posed the questions so you would think about the whys and in turns you answered your own concerns about why you want to be a nurse. you can always start with lpn and then go to rn if you so desire. we are here and all the best to you!
