    I can't believe this day is here! I always, always, always (quietly, I kept it to myself) wanted to be a nurse & it took me till now to go ahead and try. 20 years since I was last in school & I am nervous.

    Well hello and best of luck! I'm sure you will do just fine.

    Is your program part time evenings or fulltime? I was just thinking to myself, it hasn't been that long for me. But yes, 2012 makes 20 years for me also being out of school. I think at this age we are more mature and focused on the ending goal.

    Thanks so much! I totally agree that we have our life experiences on our side. I definitely have a goal. My program is evenings, part time for two years.

    Congratulations and good luck! I also went back to school, after being out for over 20 off and on. You can do this! It will feel overwhelming at times, but take it one class at a time, one week at a time at some points and keep moving forward!
