How is the first semester in the LPN program?

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

I am so nervous I start on March 5th , and I am being exempt from certain classes like Anatomy and physiology and Human development, plus Nutrition, so that leaves me with Fundamentals to nursing theory and lab and Vocational adjustments and Dosage and drug calculations.

Can anyone let me know how these classes will be....I start my clinicals on the second semester.

Postmortem Cowboy, Thank you so much for all the good advice! That is the reason most of us (PN/VN students) love reading and posting on this site. The things you and others share with us are things we would never learn in a book, so once again, thank you!

Hi,

I'm going to school in Hohokus in Hackensack & I start in Jan. 2010. Can anyone please tell me how many times are you allowed to fail during the whole entire LPN program & are you allowed to repeat them? If so, how many times? When will you repeat the ones you failed? Will you still be w/your class or be in different class just so you can repeat? I appreciate it.

Thank you.
