Just curious about the different pricing in the country. I attend a 12-month LVN program:

Fall 2008: 2,150 tuition/fees + $700 books + $100 misc.

Spring 2009: $2,275 tuition/fees + $100 books + $450 misc (graduate pin, board fees, etc.)

Summer I: $1,550 tuition/fees

TOTAL: $7,325

I am out of district, though. The in-district fees total $5,500.

This is Tyler Junior College, by the way.

Specializes in Case Management, Psychiatric Nursing.

$25,000 was that total, but as finacnial aid came inn i ended up paying $16,000 i live in southern Cali & attended a private school.

Each semester my tuition has hovered around a thousand dollars. Books were about a thousand dollars, but the set will last the entire LPN route, which is the Fall, spring, then summer semesters. The transition courses to RN also are around a thousand per semester, but that program is only 2 semesters. I am on the East coast and attend a CC. the local medical center here also offers a 10,000 grant for the LPN/RN program if you agree to work there 2 years once you graduate. It is one of the best programs in my state, including universities.

Specializes in Orthopedics.

I am attending school in Tacoma, Washington and the total tuition, fees books, etc, for the year long LPN program is $7,562

The cost of my program for the year is 9,000

24,900 I am in Northern VA and yes I know its expensive..lol....Private school as well.

I go to a private school....$23,500 in Northern NJ. It includes everything from books for all semesters, 2 pairs white clinical scrubs and warming scrub jacket, steth, blood pressure cuff, penlight and all lab instructional equipment (gloves, syringes, NaCl bags and IV cannulas, foley caths, etc. etc.)...Basically all equipment needed. A little on the $$$$ side, but not TOO bad considering what is included!

I am in Los Angeles. $34,000 !!!! Top That ! (smirking) I am reminded every single day of this ridiculous amount, but it does keep me motivated to study hard DAILY, HOURLY, EVERY WAKING MOMENT to make certain this pays off. :)

Oh I know people tell me all the time all that money??? But the school I go to is the only place that had financial aid avail and I dont have time to be on anyones waiting list.

$3,500 is the cost of the program I'm starting next year (Hopefully I get in!!!) which includes books, uniforms, & medical stuff like gloves.

I'm currently researching and visiting schools in Orange County-which school did you attend-thanks!!:D:D

Guess im lucky,, my job pay for mine, think it was around $3,000.

Yeah about Suzzane's plan. sounds good.. i read about her early and i have the book.. i did tip 1. but i need to pm her, but i need to have 15 posts..

I'm in a 10 month program and the cost is $7,800. But that doesn't cover cpr certification, scrubs, shoes, stethoscope, etc. They actually raised the tuition this year, used to be $7,500.
