Grants for private LPN programs

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hi i went to a LPN school last year and failed my 5th class and flunked out the program. I was devastated. This time i want to try a different approach, I'm going to try a private school. That way i don't have to wait to start and they let me transfer some credits over from my previous school. so far the only grant i know about is career link and they are willing to give you 6k if you maybe do some volunteer work and classes. Does anyone know of any grants i can get for school? i was thinking i just have to get a loan for some of the tuition.

To be honest I think you need to reflect on why you've flunked 5 times and not spend any more $$ (grant or not) until you figure out why. Sometimes, despite our desires, it's just not meant to be...

Best wishes,

No sorry If i wrote that wrong, but I didn't flunk 5 times. I passed four classes and my fifth class i did not pass. This was though the school semester. So this would be my second time going to nursing school, But thank you for your advice i appreciate it.

Try the WIA website its a grant thru the government and in my state (illinois) they give $8,000 towards your school tuition but the grant is not offered at institutions

Check with the employment department in your state to see if you qualify for state benefits for school (job training).

Do you know if i qualify for this grant if i am working full time? and thanks for the info.

Thank you for the info, I will look it up now.
