Last I heard it was not accredited. It been a while, but check on that first!! My Cna 2 instructors were both PN instructors there and they loved the program. Very VERY fast paced. You have to be on top of all assignments and studying because of the time frame you have, very little time to get anything done is what they told me. Good luck!!!

It's accredited if it wasn't you wouldn't be able to take the NCLEX! That's with any nursing program. (I MADE SURE OF THAT BEFORE I STARTED)

It must depend on the location of the school. The local ECPI is VA BON approved, but is not accredited.

You can take the NCLEX without even attending the program. Just like challenging it. But I would check just to be safe. It could just be the location. The LPN's that took the PN Program at our local ones got licensed but could not get into a bridge program at any of our local colleges to become an RN because of it.

In charlotte you can't take the NCLEX if you haven't went to nursing school. My friend just finished her bridge program after attending ecpi. I guess it all depends where your located I guess.

Non of the ECPI locations (for LPN and RN)in Virginia are accredited. However the RN/BSN ECPI program is accredited.

I graduated from ECPI (charlotte,nc) in 2009 and have had no problems bridging over. I was accepted to Carolinas College of Health Science and also Stanly CC. I am currently getting my RN from SCC with no issues as long as you have your licence. Now none of your credits transfer ( like your English, Math, A&P, or computers) you just get credit for being an LPN.

@Laurasp, what program did you take at ECPI? I am looking into possibly going to the charlotte campus for the ADN program but I don't want to do it then not be able to get a job or it be a rip off.
