"LVN 30 unit option" Only valid in CA?

I was looking at my options for an LVN-RN bridge at some of the community colleges? A few of the colleges say if you do the LVN 30 unit option it is only valid for a California RN license. Does that mean I can only take the NCLEX in Ca but after I have my license I can then apply to practice someplace else? or does that mean any state in the future I apply to will look back at my class in RN school and not offer me a license?

I thought once you became an RN a license was a license?

It depends upon the state that you would want to get a license in. There are several of them that do not accept the CA LVN 30 unit option obtained RN license. If you anticipate moving in the future, best to look into the policies of the state(s) you are considering. Or better yet, get a traditional license in CA.

The LVN 30 unit option is not valid in other states due to the fine print.

If you complete a 30-unit option, you are technically not a graduate of that school and will not be granted a degree upon completion. Most other state boards of nursing require that you graduate from a state approved school of nursing. Since people who complete the 30 unit option are technically not 'graduates,' most other states will not grant these people a license.
