Working for an agency/finding a job?

Hi all!
I just got my LVN license 2 months ago in Aug. and I recently became employed by a nursing agency/registry which I started in September. This is my first LVN job ever and they had placed me in an Adult Day Care for 3 weeks to fill in for a nurse that was out...and I absolutely loved it there!!! And now that the nurse came back, my last day was last week and I'm out of a job again... The agency I'm working for are not calling me for any other jobs? What's the deal? I thought that after they place you somewhere, they would place you in another facility immediately?!?! My question is as a New grad, does anyone think that I should be working for an agency or should I just look for a permanent job right now? I've actually been looking, but I live in Orange County and all the places I've applied at tell me ''We will give you a call back" etc...etc...I wait and wait, but no call back and I just feel like I wasted my time filling out there applications! and here in Orange County...there are so many nurses! and I just feel like who would wanna hire a new grad with no experience!?!? I actually want to get into Adult Day Care, but I wonder if they require experience? I am getting so frustrated, I thought nurses were in demand and I thought after I passed my exam, It would be so easy to get a job...I don't want to be employed by this registry anymore because there are not even returning my calls or giving me another case...I need another job! HELP!
Oh and also I am very flexible with my schedule...I don't care what time I work and I am available 24/7...so why does no one want to hire me!!! Does it take time...Because I've been job searching for about a week now!
