Why new LPNs are not finding jobs in Florida

Hospitals in South Florida are complaining that they have a nursing shortage but they are only hiring RNs to their open positions, and the LPN schools are graduating more and more that cannot find jobs in hospitals or nursing homes.

In a nutshell, JCHACO requirements of a RN level of care within certain settings.
It's the same here in Tampa Bay in the hospitals, however, there are plenty of nursing home jobs and good money to be had.
