I am a new grad and recenlty passed the boards. very desperate need of a job to pay off my school loans. this certification is the only way to assure me of finding a job here in california. I need to find one here somewhere in california, between LA and san diego. thank you.

DME = durable medical equipment. There is a vent class given by LifeCare Solutions in Pasadena. It costs $25. Another one, I believe, is given by one of the hospitals downtown, not sure, but it may be Cedars-Sinai. Check the staff education link on the various hospital websites and you can find it.

I remember finding one listed at one of the hospitals. I just checked Cedars and Children's, not at either of these places.

Looked at Good Sam. They have classes listed, but not the vent class. Seems that this is the one where I found it quite some time back. Guess they aren't offering a vent class anymore.
