What is an LPN salary in doctor's office

I'm not an LPN, but I've posted before on the merits of going from school directly to office. It would be problematic to have no more than your book learning to fall back on with the questions that come your way in an office. While it is certainly a more pleasant environment than most hospitals, it does require some experience to manage it. Best of luck .

Salary varies throughout the US and a LPN will make 12-18 hr, maybe more in some areas. Specialists pay their nurses a higher rate than GP's, generally.

LPN's options vary according to geographical area as well. Some acute facilities/units do not utilize LPN's anymore, so students need to make sure to do your homework in your own area. Not fun to find zero work after all that time in school; and have to relocate unexpectedly to get a job.

Nursing homes are a staple for LPN's...LPN's can function in the supervisory role over a crew of CNA's. Lots of LPN's I know do home health visits too.

I would recommend a facility for a new grad, to get your basics down. Good luck!
