Vent: Nursing shortage and Nurses Week

Think positively. After all, we are LPNs (Life's Perfect Nurses)!

I can understand your point...when conversations are about nursing, it is really about RNs-we are not included in the equation. Even at work, when they say 'nurses' at meetings, I usually clarify "Do you mean ALL nurses?" or "LPNs are included, correct?". It doesn't bother me any longer, though, and these days, I just want to clarify if I should be concerned about whatever it is they are referring to.
