triage in PA

I have looked eveywhere in the Nurse Practice Act and online to find out if LPN's in PA can triage. I will be graduating in December and I want to know before I make a mistake that will cost me.

I have heard ( and of course the infomation i recieved could be wrong) that LPN's in PA cannot do triage, something about assessment and that not being in their scope of practice.

Yes, it is true in my state as well. Triage is an assessment process, and not under the scope of practice of an LPN. It does not mean that you do not meet the qualifications, but, if there is a legal problem, the question would be why did you do something not covered under your practice act.
