Is there such a thing as studying too much

I studied and studied and studied all the way untill the last hour untill I had to take the nclex, I'm wondering was that a bad idea? Can you really study too much to where it has a bad effect on you when you go take the test. Is it not good to study all day or for 7+ hours a day every day. I've done this and failed nclex, isufferfrom test anxiety so I figured if I new my stuff there is no way I'd fail but I did. I'm going to start studying again but just not sure which route to take. I'd like to know what you all think what can I do this time to be successful. Those of you that also have test anxiety how did you deal with it?

In short, yes. A study years ago said that the first 15-20 min you study is when you retain the most information. Studying hours upon hours without much downtime just wears you down. Try limiting to an hour, then do something else and come back to it.
