Salary at the VA???

Hello everyone. I graduated from nursing school (LVN) 3/08. Just recently received my license and have been looking for jobs. I have and interview with the VA in west la next week. I wanted to know if anyone knew the pay scale for LVN's (new grad's) at the VA. Any info would help.

The VA in Dallas, Texas starts LVNs off at $31,000 per year. A former acquaintance was employed at the VA in West Los Angeles and was earning $17 per hour.

Since the VA is a government entity, the pay tends to be lower and not as competitive as corporate-owned facilities. However, the VA makes up for the low pay with some of the most wonderful benefits that can be found in today's economy.
