Question from the new guy
Not real sure about what goes on in the hospital side of the house. Was wondering if there is a place for people like me, who have specialized in emergency trauma management (pre-hospital) for a long time, to fit in with the scrubs-wearing crowd, maybe put those skills to good use?

I am really looking forward to starting my LPN program, I suppose it's about time that I embrace the clinical aspects of patient care, at least as the next step toward getting into an ER. Scope of practice issues are virtually non-existent for me right now, there's nothing I' not covered to do if it means keeping a guy alive. That might be the roughest adjustment now that you all have brought it to my attention.
