Question for LPN/LVNS

I just got accepted into nursing school ! I have a question for all the LPN/LVNS out there, what's your favorite part of your job? And what is the absoulte worst part? I understand everyone is different, I'm just curious. Thank you so much for posting!

Favorite part...getting through to that patient or resident that everyone dreads and warns you about and they end up becoming your favorite

Worst: dealing with the "office" people. They have no idea what goes on in the facility but are making and changing rules like they work on the floor.
dealing with mean rude family

Fave: Feeling as though I've somehow made a difference in somebody's life, getting compliments from patients/family, being knowledgeable about something and being able to share and teach that to others (I've found this comes with experience as well!)

Cons: Feeling overwhelmed with too many patients or patients that are needy and/or more acute, anxiety that I am responsible for so much and that I may have missed something

My favorite is when my patient gives me a very sincere "thank you" and tells me that I did a great job today.

Least favorite is when I get attitude from the RN covering me and make comments like "Why do we even have LPNs working here if they can't push IV meds. Hello, if there weren't LPNs working here you would have six or seven patients everyday instead of four.
