Nursing Home jobs

I worked LTC for 5 years as a CNA. We got pretty good paid time off. Vacation/sick/funeral time was all rolled together. You accrued time for every hour and it built up pretty quickly. Once a year we could sell back 25% of our time for face value if we wanted.

I've been working at the same nursing home for 2 years. They abolished paid vacation time about 1.5 years ago. If you want to be paid for a holiday, sick day or vacation, you must use your accumulated PTO time (paid time off). I accumulate about 8 hours of PTO per month.
